How long will it take for me to complete the online EdD Leadership program?

The EdD Leadership program is flexibly designed for working professionals and can be completed in 2 years. Courses are delivered one at a time. Each term is 8 weeks long, and students complete 10 courses in 10 terms.

How long will it take for me to complete the online Master of Social Work program?

The traditional online Master of Social Work program can be completed full-time in 16 months or part-time in 32 months. The Advanced Standing program can be completed full-time in 8 months or part-time in 16 months.

Can I apply for the online Master of Social Work if I live outside of Kentucky?

Yes. We are currently accepting applications from a number of states. Please visit our State Authorization page to learn more.

Are the Master of Social Work classes 100% online?

Yes. Courses are delivered fully online. You will also be required to complete fieldwork hours.

Is the online Master of Social Work faculty experienced?

How many credit hours are required for the online Master of Social Work program?

The traditional program requires 60 credit hours and 900 field placement hours. The Advanced Standing program requires 30 credit hours and 450 field placement hours.

Can I work while completing the online Master of Social Work program?

Yes, both the traditional program and the Advanced Standing program are flexibly designed so you can continue to work in your current professional role.

How many start dates does the online EdD: Leadership program have per year?

There are 3 intakes per year: fall, spring and summer.

Can I work while completing the online EdD Leadership program?

Yes. Courses in this program are delivered one at a time over 10 weeks so you can continue to work in your current professional role.
